Ironing Board Redo

My ironing board cover was sad.
  very sad.
 like embarassingly sad.

I have customers coming in to my little studio & it's embarrassing that this is what they see.
Wouldn't you be embarrassed?

But, no longer.
Because my ironing board cover now looks like this:

Love. Love. Love it!
I recovered it with Amy Butler's French Belle Fabric.
When I first laid eyes on this fabric, I knew that I had to have it.  I just didn't know what I was
going to do with it.  Is that wrong?
That's just the way that I roll.

Then I used this super easy tutorial
by Lisa over at U-Handbag.
It is really super easy to follow & only took me about an hour to do.
And now viola,
I am no longer embarrassed for people to come back into my little studio!

  1. Love the matching things on the shelf! What are they? Fabric covered...? Oh oh, that fabric makes me SO happy! Oh, I just love it so.

  2. I love!! your new cover. Where did you get the ironing board that attaches to the end of your cabinet?

  3. The things on the shelf are made from the matching Amy Butler Scrapbook paper! I love it. Thanks so much for commenting!!

  4. Kay,
I don't remember where I got it. I ordered it online years ago. It is a small size one, like a table top, but it swings down to get out of the way when not in use. It is a genius idea & I love it. I would highly recommend doing a google search because it is fabulous!
